We are committed to the inspired Word of God and to strengthening His church throughout the world. In this ministry, we serve and support preachers, elders, teachers, and believers through global education and fellowship.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
— Matthew 28:18–20

Our congregation’s unique calling is to serve the global church through biblical education, leadership training, and daily fellowship with fellow laborers in key regions throughout the world. Through our educational ministry, the Harbinger Institute, we support preachers, elders, deacons, Bible teachers, and church members through rigorous study, structured certificate programs, and ongoing spiritual development.

We currently work with hundreds of church leaders across Africa, India, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. These relationships include ministers serving in refugee camps and war-affected regions, preachers throughout Africa and India, and congregations in many nations around the world. Our commitment is to stand beside them as fellow workers in the gospel.

Our purpose is to build up the Church of Christ through faithful service. We exist to encourage and strengthen those who proclaim Christ throughout the world and to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20).

In all things, we strive to be a community of believers marked by reverence, simplicity, scholarship, and a shared devotion to Christ and His church.

In an age marked by widespread confusion about faith, religion, and the identity of the church, we believe it is important to state clearly who we are. At Nashville Church of Christ, we are unashamed to stand as New Testament Christians within the heritage of the American Restoration Movement, seeking to follow inspired Scripture—the Holy Bible—faithfully and to call people back to the simplicity and unity of the New Testament church.

Our Identity as a New Testament Church

We are a New Testament congregation that accepts both the Old and New Testaments as the inspired and sacred Scriptures.

We believe that each local congregation is self-governed under the Lordship of Christ and shaped by the teachings of the New Testament.

Our worship, leadership, and mission follow the biblical pattern, and our elders and ministers lead the congregation without oversight from any outside religious authority.

We gladly join in fellowship and shared labor with believers across many nations while remaining free from denominational structures and hierarchies.

Above all, we seek to honor Christ, uphold Scripture, and strengthen His church throughout the world.
